Quite a busy Sunday breakfast spot! Did not book, but that was not a problem and seated fairly quickly. Extensive breakfast menu with many dishes to choose from. Also, a good amount of veggie options, for those that prefer meatless. Bottomless coffee came with our breakfasts- always a good thing in my book when it comes to breakfast! Food was well presented and very generous! The poached eggs are real, as I had some shell in mine! Beans, fresh tomato, 2 slices of toast, bacon was a bit anaemic and possibly boiled not grilled/ fried? Sausages were ok and the potatoes- not really sure what that yellow curry looking sauce was, a bit salty but not too offensive! Probably would go without next time! A good experience, still as loud in the morning as it is lunch and dinner. Staff are lovely and do a great job!

I could give Damons 4 stars just for the decor; it is just like walking back in time. Did the last 30 years not happen for them? Seriosuly, though the decor is tacky, but so tacky it is cool. Think lots of black furniture and red, and tasteless patterns. It is so ridiculous it is cool. I liked it, anyway. As for the food, well...the menu is enormous, both in size and content. As it was only lunchtime when we visited (August 2010) we refrained from the enormous feasts and diverted away from something called Onion Loaf (it appears to be onion rings, but loaf-style). We opted to share a platter of ribs and side dishes. The ribs were great. Not necessarily the best I have ever had, but still good. The sides were ok - I would like my fries to be thinner and crispier. The service was excellent though and I found our waiter to be super-friendly. But the best part was the chocolate milkshake, the only wish with that was that it was too small! If you are on your way to Lincoln definitely stop by Damon's, if only for the experience.

Damons is always the place to go for parties and birthdays and special things like that, because the atmosphere and food are top notch. I love how you can see all the smoke coming out the point in the roof - they don't make steak houses like it anymore, that's for sure. The decor is sort of fifties diner style, with lots of pictures of Hollywood stars on the walls to keep you amused while you're waiting for a table (this could take some time, which is the only drawback with Damon's, in my humble opinion). As with all the other reviews (bar one), the ribs totally rock.

This place is simply awsome. The ribs are fantastic! Although I agree the decor is starting to look tired, the experience of Damons makes up for it. The coldslaw was always a game to me and my family, it was that nice it was competition to see who could leave their alone the longest. We were lucky if anyone had any left by the time the food came out. Food is always cooked fantastically and are big portions, I dont think you pay over the top its quite reasonable really. The only issue I have is that they can try to squeeze too many people onto small tables. Free meal if its your birthday and you provide ID - free birthday cake as well that gets brought to your table with sparklers in. - sounds tacky but its not. All in all a great place to eat.

This is near the bypass in Lincoln, it is American style restaurant and you can see it a mile off with its spare ribs roof. They do lots of different foods, it has a bar that serves cocktails which are lovely although strong. It is always fairly busy in here and waitressing can be slow but its well worth the wait as the food is amazing and i would have it every day if i could! Def a place to try in my books!
